Made in St Lucia and Taiwan on show

Hundreds of  locally made products will take center stage at the annual Saint Lucia-Taiwan trade show next month, where entrepreneurs will also network with Taiwanese producers and suppliers.


Local manufacturers and service providers have until September 15, to register for the annual St Lucia-Taiwan partnership trade show dated for November 24 to 26, 2017.

The trade show is in its 10th year. It is being hosted by the Department of Commerce in partnership with the Embasay of the Republic of China (Taiwan) at the Johnsons Center in Rodney Bay.

The event is expected to highlight a wide range of quality goods and services available in St Lucia and Taiwan. In addition, businesses from both countries will use the show to develop trading and networking alliances. The Taiwanese contingent is interested in seeking agents for the retail of their products.

Registration forms are available at the Department of Commerce or downloaded from the department’s website.

Meanwhile November has been designated as Business month by the Small Business Development Center, SBDC, previously known as SEDU. Several activities, workshops and events will be held under the theme Promoting an Entrepreneurial Culture-Innovation and Creativity.
